SmartWool socks are way better. I had to wear another pair on top ...

I bought these socks and compared them against SmartWool socks. SmartWool socks are way better. I had to wear another pair on top of these socks. I tried several different brands of ski socks this winter. Here's what I found: SmartWool socks are warmer, more comfortable, more durable . SmartWool is definitely my favorite brand in ski/snowboard socks. These socks fit as expected, but they're thin and are about as warm as any old kind of cotton/polyester sock. Definitely not worth the price.

    Not at all that warm

Not nearly as warm as as advertised.

While she was happy to receive them

I bought these socks for my wife, who always complained of having cold feet while skiing. While she was happy to receive them, she was doubtful they would work, stating they were as thin as her old socks. Well, she put them on, and we hit the slopes. Initially she said her feet were a little cold, but as they day progressed, she said that her feet were warm and comfortable. She also says that she likes the thinness of the socks as they fit well in her new ski boots. The socks have lived up to their marketing claim.
