We are one month away from the end of Summer, which means one season away from Winter: aka ski season! And you’re probably as excited as we are. Breckenridge: Colorado 

High Season: November to April

This Ski Resort opened back in 1960 and, at that time, residents feared it would become a ghost town! Now, it has become one of the most famous ski resorts in the U.S. Breckenridge is known as the center for freestyle and snowboarding. A great place for advanced skiers to have a great time. It’s not the easiest place for beginners; however, the prestigious  Breckenridge Ski School  has more than 600 instructors giving different options for beginners’ lessons.

Jackson Hole: Wyoming

High Season: November to April

Differing from other places from this list, Jackson Hole is located in Wyoming, and considered to be one of the best skiing places in the world. If you’re looking for a family place to ski, this is not it. This spot is a bit more for the experts! However, if you’re looking for some challenges, intense steeps, and difficult terrain… Jackson Hole is definitely the place!

Aspen: Colorado 

High Season: November to April

Located a few miles away from Snowmass, one of the best known resorts in the world. A hot point for celebrities, rich and famous. For example,Mariah Carey, Lance Armstrong,  both own a place there. Besides the slopes and skiing, Aspen is also well known for its nightlife and designer shops. 

Telluride: Colorado

High Season: November to May

A Western-looking town, that’s considered  a place for all. So, whether you are a beginner or an expert, Telluride is a great place to visit. From some good green runs, blue runs and big steeps, to the highest dining experience in the U.S.: Alpino Vino. 

Winter Park: Colorado

High Season: November to April

The fantastic family destination is also the oldest ski resort in Colorado.
